Hiring Details

HIRING FROM US
A+M is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. We do not ask customers to make an appointment. On arrival one of our bookers will discuss your requirements with you and then show you around to help you select the items you need. All our stock has been coded and computerised so once your selection has been made a printout will be produced listing the items selected along with the price of the hire. Each item has a insurance value and a risk value. The insurance value is the value which a customer must insure, the risk value is used to calculate the price of the hire. Our standard rate for hiring is 7.5% of the risk value for the first weeks hire, 5% for the second and 2.5% for each week thereafter. Special rates are available for schools and theatres.

Our Requirements
To secure your order with us we require the following :- All Customers : Purchase Order or letter confirming your order Payment: If you do not have a credit account payment in cash, cheque or credit/debit card is accepted. Please note a 2.8% surcharge will be added for credit cards but debit cards are free. In some cases we may also ask for proof of ID, address and insurance. Special conditions also apply if the items are to be shipped abroad. PLEASE NOTE We do not supply transport this must be arranged by the customer. Any transport used must be suited to the items being taken. This in general terms means an enclosed vehicle with blankets and ties to protect and secure the items taken.
